Now we’re just without tv because the scaffolding blocks the dish but at least the dehumidifier is gone so we can use our kitchen sink again. I’ll certainly take no tv over a leaky house, hopefully they’ll complete the work next week and we won’t have to go through this again.

We moved in June after waiting for the construction to be completed for a year.AC/Heater issue has not resolved since then. One room overheats, or overcools while the others perform so poorly. They couldn’t do it because, again, it wouldn’t meet code…but they felt fine in recommending that I have a non-compliant change made to the house. They never looked at the switch to see if perhaps it was defective, they simply couldn’t be bothered.
The employees and support staff minus the managers are friendly. Feel of the place felt good...The processes are very thought out. I felt well prepared when I first started. I requested an escrow holdback to provide some additional incentive for the builder to complete the work on the home that should have been completed prior to closing. CalAtlantic refused; they instead offered to push the closing date back, which they knew would cost us over $10,000 in expenses (two moves, temporary housing…) which they refused to cover. And there it is – the real issue here.

After several months moved in, I started to see there are title cracks everywhere, bathroom, laundry, kitchen. The most cracks happened are at the kitchen area. I had them come to fix the tiles, took picture of the foundation when they remove the titles. There are little line cracks on the foundation. It truly seemed like the house would have been great if CalAtlantic could have compromised, but the rep said that "corporate" refused.
Please provide replacement or a repair if applicable. This review was chosen algorithmically as the most valued customer feedback. Extreme micro management and will fire you if they don't personally like you. No matter how many loans you close its possible you wont get a bonus.
